Jatiya Chhatra Shakti initiated a blockade program at Shahbagh intersection in the capital at 12:00 PM today. The protest is focused on two key demands: the immediate arrest of all individuals involved in the recent shooting attack on July revolutionary and Dhaka-8 independent candidate Sharif Osman Hadi, and the resignation of the Home Affairs Advisor citing a "deterioration of the overall law and order situation."

During the demonstration, activists chanted slogans such as "Action, Action, Action Direct," "Why shoot at Hadi, Administration wants an answer," and "One, two, three, four Jahangir, you will leave the bed."

Spokesperson Abu Baker Majumder stated that the movement is intended to be "peaceful and democratic," aiming to generate public opinion and seek justice rather than cause public suffering. He called upon the interim government to make a quick decision on the matter to alleviate public inconvenience.
