BNP Senior Joint Secretary General Ruhul Kabir Rizvi stated that the BNP has made all necessary preparations for the elections scheduled for February, as outlined in the government's road map, assuming there are no major crises or disruptive events before the upcoming Ramadan.

On the topic of BNP acting chairman Tarique Rahman's return to the country, he remarked that Tarique Rahman is a leader of the people and will return at an appropriate time, considering his mother's health, and based on his own decision. This is a matter for their family.

Addressing the issues and disagreements arising in various districts concerning the party's nominations, Rizvi Ahmed mentioned that if elections proceed, everyone will collaborate for the benefit of the paddy.

He made these comments in response to journalists' inquiries following a prayer meeting for the recovery of national leader Begum Khaleda Zia at the Sardar Para Jame Mosque in his village of Kurigram on Friday afternoon, December 5.

District BNP joint convener Hasibur Rahman Hasib, Shafiqul Islam Bebu, DAB central joint secretary general Dr. Yunus Ali, along with other party leaders and activists, were present during this time.

Prior to the prayer meeting, food was distributed to orphanages and the underprivileged as a gesture to pray for the recovery of the steadfast leader Begum Khaleda Zia.
