BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was moved to the Coronary Care Unit (CCU) on Thursday from her room at Evercare Hospital in the city.

Khaleda Zia is presently receiving care from both local and international specialists as part of the hospital's medical board. This update was provided by Shairul Kabir Khan, a member of the media team for the BNP Chairperson.

The BNP has called upon the public nationwide to pray for Khaleda Zia's swift recovery. Leaders and supporters of the BNP in various regions have already initiated prayer gatherings for her rapid healing.

On November 23, Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital after experiencing a chest infection that impacted both her heart and lungs.

At 79 years old, she is facing numerous health challenges, including heart issues, liver and kidney complications, diabetes, lung ailments, arthritis, and vision-related problems.

She has a permanent pacemaker and has previously undergone heart stenting procedures. Shairul Kabir Khan, representing the party, appealed to the citizens of the country to pray for Khaleda Zia.

Khaleda Zia traveled to London on January 7 for advanced medical treatment. After spending 117 days there, she returned to the country on May 6. Since her return, she has had to visit the hospital multiple times due to various health complications.
