BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia Admitted to Evercare Hospital for Health Check-up

BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia was admitted to Evercare Hospital in Dhaka on Sunday evening (November 23rd) for a comprehensive health check-up.

The news of her admission was confirmed around 8 PM on Sunday by her personal physician, Professor AZM Zahid Hossain. According to Professor Hossain, "Madam has been admitted to Evercare Hospital for some examinations on the advice of the medical board formed for Madam. He's in the cabin."

The medical board will decide on the next course of action only after reviewing the results of the diagnostic tests. She departed for the hospital earlier in the evening from her Gulshan residence, Firoza.

The BNP chairperson was recently present at the Armed Forces Day program held at Senakunj on Friday, November 21st. This is not her first recent visit; she was previously admitted to the hospital for a one-day health check-up on October 15th. Khaleda Zia has been battling multiple chronic health issues for many years, including arthritis, diabetes, and complications related to her kidneys, lungs, and eyes.
