3 Bangladeshi Family Members Killed in Saudi Umrah Crash

Tragedy struck a Dhaka-based family as three of its members died in a devastating road accident in Saudi Arabia on Thursday morning.

The family, who resided on Road No 2 in the Shyamoli area of Dhaka, was traveling from Riyadh to Mecca to perform the holy Umrah when their vehicle crashed.

The deceased were identified as Tania Tahmina Rina, her 12th-grade daughter Sadaf, and her youngest son Jargis. Tania’s husband Shafiqul Islam and their eldest son survived the crash but sustained critical injuries. They are currently receiving treatment at a hospital in Saudi Arabia.
