Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has called upon deputy commissioners and divisional commissioners to perform their duties with courage and impartiality for the sake of the country and its citizens.

Addressing the annual gathering of the Bangladesh Administrative Service Association at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) on Wednesday night, the Prime Minister assured officials of the government's full support for their lawful actions.

“Work fearlessly and impartially for the welfare of the country and its people,” he said. “The government will actively support any lawful and humanitarian initiative you take, God willing”.

Highlighting the importance of the bond between the state and its people, the Prime Minister noted that public confidence is essential for a stable nation. He emphasized that trust is built over time through the transparency and accountability of the administration.

"The greatest asset of the state is the trust of the people," he stated, expressing his belief that the administrative officials will remain diligent in maintaining that trust.
