


Prime Minister Tarique Rahman announced on Monday that the government will introduce LPG cards for women to alleviate the difficulties of domestic cooking. He emphasized that the core of the BNP’s politics is the welfare of the people.
The Prime Minister made the announcement during the inauguration of the re-excavation project for the Ulashi-Jadunathpur canal in Sharsha, Jashore. The canal holds significant historical value, being tied to the memory of late President Ziaur Rahman.
"LPG card services will be provided to our mothers and sisters to ease their daily hardships. Our goal is to ensure the well-being of every citizen," the Prime Minister stated.
Addressing the local impact of the project, he noted that the re-excavation would provide direct irrigation and water benefits to approximately 72,000 people in the Sharsha region.
