Bangladesh Records 803 New Dengue Cases, Four Deaths

Health officials in Bangladesh have reported 803 new cases of dengue and four related deaths in the past 24 hours.

The new cases include 130 in Dhaka South (DSCC) and 155 in Dhaka North (DNCC). The other division cases are 147 in Dhaka division (excluding the capital), 112 in Barishal, 97 in Chattogram, 49 in Khulna, 49 in Mymensingh, 37 in Rajshahi, 17 in Rangpur, and 10 in Sylhet.

Since the beginning of the year, the country has recorded a total of 63,170 dengue cases and 259 deaths. For comparison, dengue claimed 575 lives and infected 101,214 people in Bangladesh last year.
