Prime Minister Tarique Rahman orders uninterrupted power supply during Sehri, Iftar and Tarawih

The first meeting of the cabinet was held under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman. He ordered uninterrupted power supply during Sehri, Iftar and Tarawih.

The first meeting of the new cabinet was held at the Secretariat on Wednesday (February 18) afternoon. Although the meeting was mainly introductory, the government's priority issues were discussed in the meeting. After the meeting, the Prime Minister's advisor, ministers and state ministers gave various information about the meeting.

State Minister for the Ministry of Labor and Employment, Expatriates' Welfare and Overseas Employment Md. Nurul Haque Nur said, "The upcoming Ramadan is starting, focusing on keeping commodity prices normal, plus ensuring uninterrupted electricity during Sehri, Iftar, and Tarawih, ensuring that the law and order situation remains normal, and the government's commitments, especially the issues that the Prime Minister said in public meetings at various places during the election - family cards, farmer cards, and health cards - can be implemented immediately. He also gave us instructions and discussed those issues."

Instructions have been given to do visible work free from the influence of corruption. The Prime Minister has suggested expanding the labor market in the Middle East. The Prime Minister has given instructions to maintain the law and order situation.

State Minister for Finance and Planning Md. Jonayed Saki said that the government will announce a 180-day roadmap. The programs taken during this period will be implemented on a priority basis. In addition, the Prime Minister has instructed to focus on ensuring a comfortable environment during Ramadan and has also instructed to maintain normal power supply. In addition, the proposals of the Media Commission are also in hand, and they will be worked on."

Advisor to the Prime Minister, Jahedur Rahman, said the Prime Minister has given instructions on controlling the prices of commodities during Ramadan and ensuring smooth return home during Eid.
