Prime Minister pays tribute at Memorial

He paid tribute at the National Memorial in Savar this morning (Wednesday). Meanwhile, Tarique Rahman will go to the Secretariat at noon on the occasion of his first working day. In the afternoon, the first cabinet meeting of the newly formed cabinet will be held at the Secretariat under his chairmanship. He is scheduled to hold a meeting with top officials (secretaries) of the administration on the same day.

Earlier, BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman took oath as Prime Minister on Tuesday. After his oath, first the ministers of the new government took the oath and then the state ministers. After 4 pm, President Md. Shahabuddin administered the oath to them at the South Plaza of the Jatiya Sangsad Bhaban. Through this, the journey of the new government under the leadership of Prime Minister Tarique Rahman began. At the same time, the journey of the BNP-led government began after almost two decades.
