


The country's dengue situation remains critical, according to an update provided on Sunday, November 23rd, by the Health Emergency, Operation Center, and Control Room of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In the last 24 hours (ending November 23rd), eight more individuals have succumbed to dengue, tragically bringing the total number of dengue-related deaths this year to 364. A total of 778 new dengue patients were admitted to hospitals across various medical facilities nationwide in the past 24 hours.
Of the new admissions, 14 were reported from the Dhaka division, split equally: seven from within the Dhaka City Corporation area and seven from the Dhaka division (outside the City Corporation).
Over the last 24 hours, 1,111 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals. As of November 23rd total Reported Cases: 90,264, Total Discharged: 87,000, Gender Breakdown of Cases: 62% men and 37% women.
