The dengue situation in Bangladesh continues to be critical, with the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reporting a surge in fatalities and hospitalizations.

The Health Emergency Operation Center and Control Room of the DGHS provided the following data, 6 more people died from dengue, 788 patients were admitted to hospitals nationwide. The highest number of new cases were reported in Dhaka North City (166), followed by Dhaka Division (outside city corporation, 130), and Chittagong Division (108). Other affected areas include Barisal (87), Dhaka South City (86), Khulna (66), and Mymensingh (56). Total 973 dengue patients were discharged from hospitals across the country in the last one day.
