The Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) has apprehended the primary suspect involved in the case concerning the discovery of dismembered remains inside a drum located near the entrance of the National Eidgah field next to the High Court.

Deputy Police Commissioner Muhammad Talebur Rahman from the DMP's media and public relations department confirmed this information on Friday night, November 14.

He stated that the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DB) has taken into custody the main suspect related to the murder case. The individual was arrested today in Daudkandi, Comilla.

The victim’s sister, Anzina Begum, lodged a complaint at the Shahbagh police station. A man named Ashraful Haque's associate, Zorezul, has been identified as the primary suspect in the case. Additionally, several other unidentified individuals have also been implicated in the charges.
