


Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has inaugurated a doctors' convention organized on the occasion of the 37th anniversary of the Doctors Association of Bangladesh (DAB).
He inaugurated the convention on Saturday morning at the LD Hall of the National Parliament.
Prior to the inauguration, the Prime Minister planted a Neem sapling on the National Parliament grounds. His wife, Dr. Zubaida Rahman, also planted a tree sapling at the venue.
Following the national anthem, the Prime Minister formally commenced the next part of the program by hoisting the party flag. Before the convention began, they also released two peace doves.
Among others present at the occasion were BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir, the Prime Minister's wife Dr. Zubaida Rahman, DAB President Professor Dr. Harun Al Rashid, and General Secretary Dr. Md. Zahirul Islam Shakil.
