On the third day of Eid 2026, Bongo will release the web film 'Love Sitter', co-directed by Amitabh Reza Chowdhury and Mushfika Masud, based on a story by Shahzada Mamun. Produced under AM Cinema, the film stars Ziaul Haque Polash and Sadia Ayman.

The film explores loneliness amid city life and the unexpected emotional connections people form. The plot follows Abir, whose pet cat Hypnosis accidentally ends up in his bag during a train journey from Chattogram to Dhaka, gradually bringing two lonely individuals closer. The narrative emphasizes affection, responsibility, and empathy, showing how even a small creature can bridge human emotions.

Director Mushfika Masud highlighted the story’s focus on animals’ need for care and how pets can be central to human emotional life. Co-director Amitabh Reza Chowdhury added that the film reflects the quiet, subtle nature of love in a bustling city. Bongo Chief of Content Mushfiqur Rahman said the story is simple yet emotional, aiming to evoke compassion and empathy for both humans and animals.

A special premiere of the web film was held at Star Cineplex, SKS Tower, Mohakhali, attended by the directors, cast, crew, media, and executives from supporting partners like Polar Ice Cream and Hamdard Laboratories Bangladesh.

Audience anticipation has been high even before the release due to the film’s unique story and emotional depth.
