Selina Monir to Hold Bridal Makeup Masterclass in Dhaka

Internationally renowned makeup artist and trainer Selina Monir is returning to Bangladesh to conduct a bridal makeup masterclass and hands-on workshop in Dhaka from September 4th to 8th, 2026. The program aims to build skills among aspiring women entrepreneurs and professional makeup artists.

Monir has trained over 1,000 women in Bangladesh through her programs. Many of her trainees now work as successful freelance makeup artists across the country while others have become financially independent by launching their own bridal and beauty studios.

Monir says skill-building opens new opportunities for women. Beyond teaching modern bridal makeup techniques, the workshop focuses on practical training to help participants build lasting careers. Sessions will cover international bridal makeup standards, current trends, skin preparation, client consultation, kit management and beauty business essentials.

As part of her visit, Monir is also joining a photo and video campaign with model Barisha Haque set for release soon.

Eleni is the workshop's outfit partner and supplying bridal wear for training sessions, while The Beauty Mall is the official cosmetics partner also providing international-standard products.

Organizers say the initiative will nurture new talent in Bangladesh's beauty industry and expand self-employment opportunities for women, combining Monir's experience with international training methods to support participants' careers at home and abroad.
