


The romantic comedy film De De Pyaar De 2, starring Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh and directed by Anshul Sharma, is maintaining a steady performance at the domestic box office.
Having released on November 14, the film is now rapidly approaching the ₹50 crore mark in its first week. According to industry tracker Sacnilk, the film's collection on its sixth day (Wednesday, November 19) remained steady, despite the mid-week slowdown, Day 6 Collection Rs.3.50 crore and Total India Net Collection (6 Days) Rs.47.75 crore.
The film registered an overall Hindi occupancy of 8.84% on Wednesday, with night shows showing the highest turnout at 12.37%. The film is a sequel to the 2019 hit and features a stellar ensemble cast alongside the leads, Cast- Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, R. Madhavan (in a pivotal new role), Ishita Dutta, Meezaan Jaffrey, Javed Jaffrey, and Gautami Kapoor. Music- The soundtrack features a blend of composers, including Yo Yo Honey Singh, Jaani, Aditya Dev–Payal Dev, Avvy Sra, and Sagar Bhatia. Praise for Collaboration- R. Madhavan, whose character adds new dynamics to the sequel, praised the film's collaborative atmosphere, telling The Times of India, “With Ajay, there’s no sense of competition and he creates a comfort level that makes working easy.”
The film, produced by T-Series Films and Luv Films, is expected to make its digital debut on the streaming platform Netflix sometime in January 2026, following its theatrical run.
