Historic Election to Set New National Standard: Home Advisor

Home Affairs Advisor Lieutenant General (Retd.) Md. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury has lauded the 13th National Parliament Election and Referendum, stating the process will serve as a historic example for the nation.

While inspecting various polling stations in the capital on Thursday afternoon, the Advisor observed that voting was proceeding in a fair and festive atmosphere. "This election is a testament to our commitment to a transparent democratic process," he told reporters.

During his field visit, the Home Advisor inspected centers at Siddheswari Girls College, Motijheel Ideal School and College, and Tejgaon College, among others. He engaged with on-duty presiding officers and voters to gauge the security situation and the ease of the voting process.

Expressing satisfaction with the high voter turnout and orderly conduct, he noted that the coordinated efforts of law enforcement and the administration ensured a safe environment for all citizens.
