National Life Insurance approves 37% cash dividend

The 41st Annual General Meeting (AGM) of National Life Insurance Company was held virtually on June 30, 2026. During the meeting, the company successfully approved a 37% cash dividend for its shareholders for the fiscal year 2025.

The meeting was presided over by the company’s Chairman, Tofazzal Hossain. A significant number of shareholders participated in the virtual proceedings, where they expressed satisfaction with the company's recent progress and financial performance. During the session, the shareholders lauded the Board of Directors and the management team for their strategic direction and dedication to the company's success.

The shareholders unanimously approved the financial statements for the year 2025 and the proposal of a 37% cash dividend against each share with a face value of Tk 10.

The meeting was attended by the company’s Directors, including Motiur Rahman, S.I. Chowdhury, Brigadier General (Retd.) Md. Masud Hossain, Mamunur Rashid, and Dr. Shamim Khan. Key members of the management team, including Chief Executive Officer Md. Kazim Uddin, Deputy Managing Director Khasru Chowdhury, and Deputy Managing Director & CFO Probir Chandra Das, FCA, were also present.

In his concluding remarks, Chairman Tofazzal Hossain extended his gratitude to the participating shareholders, directors, and entrepreneurs. He expressed firm optimism about the company's future growth and reaffirmed the commitment to maintaining its upward trajectory in the insurance sector.
