The United Business Forum panel achieved a clean sweep in the Chattogram Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) elections on Saturday, marking the first time in over 12 years that members of the trade body elected their leaders through a direct vote.
The landmark election took place at the World Trade Center in Agrabad, drawing local entrepreneurs and industrial leaders back to the ballot box after more than a decade of uncontested selections.
The election board set up separate brackets across four functional trade categories to ensure balanced representation from major corporate houses down to trade town syndicates.
