Sonali Life Insurance celebrates 12th anniversary in Lakshmipur

Sonali Life Insurance Company Limited, a listed firm in the capital market, celebrated its 12th founding anniversary in Lakshmipur with a colourful day-long programme and cake-cutting ceremony. The celebration was held on Saturday (October 11) at the Town Hall auditorium, where a training session was also organized for company representatives as part of the anniversary programme. Company CEO Md. Rafiqul Islam attended the event as the chief guest and delivered his remarks. Deputy Managing Director Syed Mohammad Azim, AGM Abu Shahadat Dulal, DGM Md. Anwar Hossain, AGM Ramzan Ali, and Head of Training Md. Tafazzal Hossain Manik were present as special guests. Others in attendance included Lakshmipur Metro’s Md. Anwar Hossain, Mohammad Suman Hossain, Rashed Khan Sajib, Raipur Metro’s Md. Ali Hossain and Md. Zakir Hossain, Chandpur Metro’s Md. Kabir Hossain, and Metro Head Office representative Bappi Kanjilal, among others. The event was conducted by Mushfiqur Rahman Papon, Senior Officer of the Lakshmipur district branch. Trainer Tafazzal Hossain Manik mentioned that the company’s life fund now stands at Tk 1,000 crore. Speakers at the event said that there is hardly any area in Bangladesh where Sonali Life policyholders are not found. “We have already reached almost every corner of the country, but our mission continues — we aim to bring our services to every family,” they added. They also emphasized empowering women in the insurance profession, acknowledging the challenges many female agents face in their work. Earlier, on September 25, the company’s top executives celebrated the 12th founding anniversary at the Pan Pacific Sonargaon Hotel in Dhaka.
