Funeral of Ramgarh Upazila BNP Chief's Father Held

The namaz-e-janaza (funeral prayers) for late Abdul Hai Bacha Mian (75) was held on Monday at his family home in Kaladeba, Ramgarh. He was the father of Ramgarh Upazila BNP President Md. Jasim Uddin.

Approximately 2,500 people from all walks of life attended the funeral, including local citizens, relatives, and leaders from various political parties, including the district and upazila tiers of the BNP. Attendees offered prayers seeking eternal peace for the departed soul.

Abdul Hai Bacha Mian passed away on Thursday, May 21, 2026, while undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Feni. He leaves behind his wife, four sons, two daughters, and numerous well-wishers.

BNP Central Committee Deputy Employment Affairs Secretary and Khagrachari District BNP President Wadud Bhuiyan, MP, expressed deep grief over the death and extended his condolences to the bereaved family.
