


A public awareness meeting was held today to mark the launch of a three-day Land Service Fair in Lohagara, Narail.
Md. Ataur Rahman Bachchu, Member of Parliament for the Narail-2 constituency, addressed the gathering as the chief guest. The event was organized by the Lohagara Upazila Land Office, in collaboration with the Ministry of Land, on the local land office premises.
Presided over by Lohagara Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Shammi Kaiser, the meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner (Land) and Municipal Administrator Sushmita Saha. Other notable attendees included Narail District Jamaat-e-Islami Executive Committee Member Md. Jamirul Haque Tutul, Upazila Jamaat Member Maulana Hadiuzzaman, Executive Committee Member Md. Emdadul Haque Emdad, Lohagara Government Pilot High School Headmaster SM Hayatuzzaman, Lohagara Municipality BNP Organizing Secretary SA Saifullah Mamun, BNP leader Syed Shah Alam, and Nazir Md. Shahidul Islam.
Speaking at the event, MP Md. Ataur Rahman Bachchu highlighted the modernization of land administration, noting that digitalization has significantly reduced public suffering. "Citizens can now access most vital land services online from the comfort of their homes," he said.
The three-day fair will continue through May 21, offering direct assistance and information to the public.
