The “14th Shukanta Fair-2026” was held in Gopalganj with the aim of encouraging students’ creative talents, moral education, and cultural activities. The daylong event turned into a vibrant celebration through discussion sessions, cultural performances, and prize distribution ceremonies.

Distinguished social worker and education enthusiast Mr. Rashed Al Mahmud Titumir, Adviser to the Honorable Prime Minister on Economic and Planning Affairs, attended the program as the chief guest. The program was presided over by the Deputy Commissioner of Gopalganj, Mr. Md. Arif Uz Zaman.

Among the special guests were: Member of Parliament for Gopalganj-1 constituency Mr. Md. Selimuzzaman Selim, Member of Parliament for Gopalganj-2 constituency Mr. K M Babar, Member of Parliament for Gopalganj-3 constituency Mr. S. M. Jilani, Superintendent of Police of Gopalganj Mr. Md. Habibullah, and Administrator of the District Council Mr. Sharif Rafiquzzaman.

The program formally began with the recitation of the Holy Quran. Later, the guests delivered motivational speeches to the students. The speakers emphasized that the younger generation should not remain limited to academic education alone; they should also be inspired by morality, patriotism, humanity, discipline, and creative thinking.

Following the discussion session, a captivating cultural program was held. Students from various educational institutions performed songs, dances, and poetry recitations, impressing the audience with their lively performances and enthusiasm.

At the concluding stage of the event, prizes and honorary crests were distributed among the winners of different competitions by the distinguished guests. The organizers stated that such initiatives would continue in the future to help develop students’ talent, intellect, and creativity.
