Land Official Killed in Araihazar Road Accident

Haji Md. Anwar Hossain a dedicated land official, died in a road accident in the Morirate area of Araihazar on Thursday morning.

Hossain served as a 'Nayeb' (Land Officer) for the Gopaldi Municipality in Araihazar and as a Deputy Land Officer for the Jampur Union in Sonargaon.

The accident occurred in front of Sabo Diagnostic Hospital when a speeding lorry struck his motorcycle while he was commuting to work. Local residents rescued him and rushed him to a nearby hospital, where the attending physician declared him dead.

Known for his long-standing integrity and people-friendly approach, Hossain was highly respected by both colleagues and the local community. His sudden passing has left his family, fellow officials, and local representatives in deep mourning.
