


The Sholaana Traders Cooperative Society, a gold medal-winning traditional institution in Paikgachha, held its 33rd Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Thursday evening (May 7). The session took place at the society's central office, bringing together local business leaders and dignitaries.
The meeting was chaired by MM Abdus Samad, with the opening address delivered by Society President GM Shukuruzzaman. Moderated by Secretary Alhaj Sheikh Fazlur Rahman, the assembly served as a platform to review the cooperative's annual achievements and discuss future strategies for the local trading community.
Prominent speakers included former president Advocate Mortaza Zaman Alamgir Rulu and Bar Association President Advocate GM Abdus Sattar. Discussions centered on maintaining the cooperative’s national reputation and enhancing support for local traders.
Members of the executive committee and local journalists also attended the session, which concluded with a commitment to further the cooperative's role in the regional economy.
