371 Students Absent in Paikgachha Primary Scholarship Exam

The Paikgachha Primary Scholarship Examination-2025 was held peacefully on Wednesday, April 15, at two centres in the upazila.

The first-day Bengali exam took place from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm. According to officials, 371 out of 1,150 registered examinees were absent, while 779 students attended.

Upazila Executive Officer Wasiuzzaman Chowdhury visited both centres and confirmed that the exam was conducted in a fair and orderly manner.

At Model Government Primary School centre, 462 out of 702 students were present, with 240 absent, said centre secretary SM Aminur Rahman Litu.

At Shaheed Gafur Government Primary School centre, 317 out of 448 examinees attended, while 131 were absent, according to centre secretary Selina Parveen.

Upazila Secondary Education Officer Shahjahan Ali Sheikh and Assistant Education Officer Bhudhar Chandra Sana were দায়িত্বে at the two centres.
