Intercity Trains to Stop at Muksudpur from April 14

In a move to enhance regional connectivity, Bangladesh Railway has officially approved a new stoppage for intercity trains at Muksudpur Railway Station.

According to a directive from the General Manager’s Office (West), Rajshahi, selected intercity services—including the Ruposhi Bangla Express—will now observe a two-minute scheduled stop at the station.

The new service begins on April 14, 2026, strategically timed to coincide with Pohela Boishakh (Bengali New Year 1433). Officials confirmed that the updated stops have been integrated into the existing route timings to prevent any disruption to the broader network.

While the Muksudpur stoppage is a new addition, all other provisions of the current Schedule-45 remain in effect. The order, signed by Md. Abul Awal, Assistant Chief Operating Superintendent (West), has been circulated to relevant departments for immediate implementation.
