The first-year undergraduate admission test for the 'A' Unit (Science) at Pabna University of Science and Technology (PUST) was held peacefully on Friday.

This session marked the final phase of the three-step cluster admission process for the 2025-26 academic year.

The hour-long examination took place from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. Out of 13,485 registered candidates, 10,516 appeared for the test, marking an attendance rate of 77.98%.

Acting Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. Md. Nazrul Islam and Treasurer Professor Dr. Md. Shamim Ahsan inspected the centers and expressed satisfaction with the arrangements. "With everyone’s cooperation, we have successfully completed the final phase of the 20-university cluster exams," the Vice-Chancellor stated, thanking the faculty, staff, and law enforcement for their support.

To ensure candidate comfort, the university provided clear room signage medical teams and a constant power supply. Dedicated sheds and clean drinking water were also arranged for waiting parents.

The examination was held across six venues: the PUST campus, Textile Engineering College, Shahid M. Mansur Ali College, Pabna Zilla School, Government Girls’ High School, and Imam Ghazali School and College.

Additionally, the Architecture Practical (Drawing) test was conducted later in the day from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the university center.
