Chattogram District Superintendent of Police (SP), Mohammad Nazir Ahmed Khan, has ordered all Officers-in-Charge (OCs) to maintain 24-hour surveillance on petrol pumps across the district.

The SP directed officials to closely monitor the storage, sale, and supply of fuel. He emphasized that any irregularities, discrepancies, or attempts to conceal information must be met with immediate legal action and reported to higher authorities.

"No one will be allowed to illegally stockpile fuel, create artificial crises, overcharge, or waste resources," SP Khan stated. He warned that individuals involved in black-marketing or hoarding would face strict legal consequences without exception.

Furthermore, police have been instructed to swiftly verify and act upon any public complaints regarding fuel. These operations aim to ensure a stable fuel supply in the public interest.
