Coast Guard Arrests 2 Drug Dealers with 1.2 kg Marijuana in Bhola

The Coast Guard arrested two drug dealers and seized 1.2 kilograms of marijuana in a special operation in Bhola Sadar on Monday night.

The arrested are Md. Milon (29) of Bapta Union, Ward No. 5, son of Abdul Khalek, and Md. Rasheduzzaman Rocky (41) of Bhola Municipality Western Para, Ward No. 6, son of Mofizul Islam.

Lt. BN Md. Abul Kashem, Coast Guard South Zone Media Officer, said the operation was conducted around 10 pm in the Notun Bazar and Paranganj areas based on secret intelligence. The marijuana, valued at approximately Tk 48,000, along with the suspects, was handed over to Bhola Sadar Police Station for further legal action.
