The biennial elections for the Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCCI) will be held on April 4, 2026. The announcement marks the resumption of a process previously stalled by legal proceedings.
The revised schedule was confirmed in a notification signed by Monowara Begum, Chairman of the Chamber’s Election Board and Chattogram Local Government Director. According to the notice, the Ministry of Commerce provided a legal opinion on February 26 to proceed with the election.
Voting for 18 director positions across the Ordinary and Associate groups will take place at the World Trade Center in Agrabad. Polling will remain open from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.
The election, originally slated for November 1 last year, was postponed on October 30 following a court order. The CCCI has notified its members of the new date via its official website, social media, and SMS.
