In a gesture of social responsibility, Mohammad Raihan Thakur, an expatriate and the eldest son of the late singer Milu Thakur, distributed Iftar items among more than a hundred underprivileged residents of Lohagara Municipality on Saturday (February 21).

The distribution took place at noon at the Thakur residence in Lakshmipasha village. Former Lohagara Municipality Mayor and BNP leader Newaz Ahmed Thakur Nazrul attended the event, alongside local journalists and social activists.

The essential food packages provided to the recipients included chickpeas, gram flour, sugar, oil, dates, and puffed rice (muri), intended to support distressed families during the upcoming fasting month.
