Government Employees Protest in Paikgachha for 9th Pay Scale

Bangladesh Government Employees Demands Realization Unity Council held a sit-in and protest program in the presence of employees of all government departments of Paikgachha Upazila of Khulna district as part of the sit-in and protest program announced by the central committee for the publication and implementation of the 9th pay scale gazette recommended by the Pay Commission formed by the government.

On Tuesday morning, February 3, a protest procession from the Paikgachha Upazila Parishad premises toured the main road and then a sit-in program was held on the main road in front of the Upazila Parishad. During the program, the working employees held banners and festoons in their hands and peacefully presented their demands.

Krishnapada Mandal, CA of the Upazila Executive Office A. Bari, Uttam Kundu, Biswajit Sardar, Surjit Pal, Tuhin Biswas, Amartya Biswas of the Assistant Upazila Land Office, Debabrata Sarkar of the Upazila Health Complex, Md. Sarwar Hossain, Md. Shahiduzzaman of the Food Controller's Office and many others were present.

Employees of all the upazila government offices were present at the time.
