Joint forces arrest four with drugs in Nalchiti operation

Four people have been arrested with Yaba tablets and drugs in a joint forces operation in Nalchiti, Jhalakathi. Drug-taking equipment and cash were recovered from them during the operation.

On Sunday (January 25) night, based on a secret tip-off, the operation was conducted in the Zero Point area of ​​Dapadpia Union of Nalchiti Upazila under the leadership of Army Camp Commander Captain Tanvir and Second in Command Captain Sayar.

The arrestees in the operation are Rakib Sikder (35), son of the deceased Amir Ali Sikder of Dapadpia village of Dapadpia union, Md. Shipon Hossain (37), son of Jalal, Sohag Talukder (37), son of Mohammad Ali Talukder, and Bashir Sikder (34), son of Md. Motahar Ali Sikder of Bharatkathi village.

100 grams of marijuana, 23 pieces of Yaba tablets, 100 grams of foreign tobacco, marijuana preparation equipment, mobile phones, three local and foreign weapons, cash, driving licenses and 8 NID cards have been recovered from them.

They have been handed over to Nalchiti Police Station for further legal proceedings.
