Coast Guard and police arrest 1 in joint operation in Bhola

A drug dealer named Md. Chentu (63) has been arrested in a joint operation by the Coast Guard and police in Bhola with yaba, ganja and heroin. The arrested person is the son of Abul Kashem of Saidpur Union No. 6 Ward, Daulatkhan Upazila.

Coast Guard South Zone Media Officer BN Lt. Md. Abul Kashem confirmed this information and said that based on a secret tip-off, a joint operation was conducted by Coast Guard Base Bhola and police in the area adjacent to Dali Bari under Daulatkhan Police Station in Bhola at 1 am on Saturday (January 24) and 213 pieces of yaba, 100 grams of ganja and 38 pieces of heroin worth about 1 lakh 32 thousand 300 taka were arrested along with 1 drug dealer.

The seized narcotics and the arrested person were handed over to Daulatkhan Police Station for legal action.
