The intensity of winter in Chattogram is increasing this year. The sun has not been able to show its face since Monday (January 5) morning. The entire city is covered in fog, which is also affecting the daily lives of the common people.

According to the local meteorological department, the presence of fog in the city's air is more due to the cold-related temperature drop and humidity. Locals said that the cold feels more intense in the morning and evening.

This is not only affecting public life, but also creating a need for caution in transportation and health. The risk of accidents increases due to fog when driving, especially in the morning and night. Doctors have advised wearing warm clothes and eating healthy food due to the increased possibility of cold-related diseases such as cold and cough.

The effect of winter is also evident in the morning and afternoon trips to schools, colleges and offices in the city and in the presence of people in the market. Meteorological experts said that this trend of winter may last for a few days.

Chattogram residents have been urged to be especially vigilant and adhere to personal and transportation safety.
