The northern town of Ishwardi shivers at the lowest temperature of the season. Today, Friday (January 50), the temperature was recorded at 8.4 degrees Celsius in Ishwardi of Pabna. Which has set a record as the lowest temperature of this year.

For the past few days, the temperature in Ishwardi has been recorded relatively lower than other nearby upazilas. As a result, winter is settling in this town before evening. Along with the bitter cold at night, the presence of dense fog is also being noticed. The sun has been visible for the last three days. Sometimes the sun is seen relatively late. As a result, long-distance vehicles are driving on regional and highways with headlights on to avoid accidents.

Nazmul Haque Ranjan, observer of the Ishwardi Meteorological Office, said that the lowest temperature of 8.4 degrees Celsius of the current season was recorded in Ishwardi on Monday (January 5). Earlier, the minimum temperature on Friday was 8.8 degrees Celsius. The intensity of the cold has increased due to the lack of sun and cold winds.
