Inquilab Manch has held a protest program in Chattogram demanding justice for the murder of Inquilab Manch spokesperson Shaheed Sharif Osman Hadi.

On Friday (December 26), after Friday prayers, the protest procession started from the premises of Andarkilla Mosque and circled the main roads of Chattogram city. The procession stopped in front of the Press Club in Jamalkhan area under Kotwali Police Station and a protest rally was held there. The rally demanded justice for the murder and the immediate arrest of the culprits.

The participants in the rally raised various slogans including 'Why did Hadi Bhai die, give an interim answer, we will all be Hadi, we will fight for ages, break the Awami League's shelter, crush 'Indian aggression'.

In his speech, July Unity organizer Abrar Hasan Riyad said that Shaheed Hadi is an inspiration in the struggle for independence. Bangladesh will not be given the opportunity to turn anyone into a tax state. He also said that the failure of the interim government to arrest the main accused even after three weeks of the murder is proof of the failure of the interim government.

Rafsan Rakib, convener of Inqilab Manch Chattogram University (CUB), said that Shaheed Hadi's ideals are not limited to any party line. As Hadi's successor, the ongoing struggle against hegemony will continue.

Tawfiq Imroz, SM Shahid and Al Mamun also spoke at the rally. The participants in the program declared that they would firmly uphold the tower of inspiration that Shaheed Hadi has built with labor and blood.
