Porsha Celebrates Global Handwashing Day

Global Handwashing Day was observed in Porsha, Naogaon, with the theme "Be the Handwashing Hero."

The day was marked by a rally and a subsequent discussion meeting, organized jointly by the Upazila Administration and the Department of Public Health Engineering.

The discussion meeting, held at the Upazila Parishad auditorium following the rally on Wednesday, was chaired by the Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md. Rakibul Islam. The Public Health Officer, Al-Hamim, delivered the welcome speech.

Among those present at the event were Assistant Commissioner (Land) Nabila Ferdous, Livestock Officer Jahangir Alam, Primary Education Officer Sajjad Hossain, Social Services Officer Shahidul Islam, Youth Development Officer Rafiqul Islam, URC Instructor Ashraful Alam, and students.
