Pabna Martyred Intellectuals Day was observed. This morning, a march was taken out from the club premises on behalf of the Pabna Press Club. Later, a wreath was laid at the Durjoy Pabna Memorial, the monument of independence. At this time, a one-minute silence was observed in memory of the martyred intellectuals.

Later, a discussion meeting was held at the Pabna Press Club Auditorium. The discussion, chaired by Press Club President Akhtaruzzaman Akhtar and moderated by Literary and Cultural Secretary Iyad Ali Mridha Pavel, was attended by veteran journalists, former president freedom fighter Rabiul Islam Robi, former president ABM Fazlur Rahman Press Club Secretary Zahurul Islam, Treasurer Abul Kalam Azad, Sports Secretary Imroz Khondaker Bappi, Executive Members Sushil Tarafdar, Arif Ahmed Siddiqui, Shahin Rahman, SM Alam and journalist Rizvi Joy.

Also, on the occasion of Martyred Intellectuals Day, Annada Govinda Public Library and Pabna Regional Office of the Open University laid wreaths at the Durjoy Pabna Memorial.
