Rain Continues in Several Districts, but Heat and Humidity Persist

Rain has continued in several parts of the country, but the uncomfortable weather has not completely subsided. While some areas have received light to moderate rainfall, people are still experiencing heat and high humidity, making daily life uncomfortable.

According to the weather forecast, temporary gusty winds accompanied by light to moderate rain or thundershowers may occur at a few places in the Rangpur, Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Chattogram and Sylhet divisions. Weather in other parts of the country may remain mainly dry with partly cloudy skies.

Although rainfall has brought some relief to people in several areas, the relief has been short-lived. In many places, the sun comes out shortly after rainfall, increasing humidity and creating a hot and uncomfortable atmosphere.

The changing weather is also affecting normal life. Commuters, outdoor workers, students and pedestrians are facing difficulties due to sudden changes between rain and sunshine. In some areas, rainwater is accumulating on roads, slowing traffic and causing temporary inconvenience.

The rainfall is considered beneficial for agriculture in many areas, particularly for crops that require adequate moisture. However, excessive rain in low-lying areas could affect vegetable fields and other crops.

Weather conditions are expected to remain changeable in the coming days. Rain may continue sporadically in different parts of the country, while temperatures and humidity may vary from one region to another.

For now, people are experiencing a mixed weather pattern—rain in some areas, dry conditions in others, and persistent heat and humidity in between. Authorities and the public are advised to remain alert to the latest weather forecasts as conditions may change rapidly.
