Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, a member of the BNP Standing Committee, stated that should the BNP secure victory in the forthcoming 13th National Parliament election and assume power, it will generate employment for 10 million people within a span of 18 months. This initiative aims to ensure that at least one member from every family in Bangladesh is employed. The BNP has already developed comprehensive plans to achieve this.

He made these remarks as the chief guest at a memorial event honoring the late Zafrul Islam Chowdhury, former State Minister for Forests and Environment and past president of Chattogram South District BNP, held at the Pilot School Ground in Bashkhali Upazila on Friday evening, November 14.

He further stated, 'Every citizen in this nation will have access to free healthcare and technical education. They will be able to secure jobs both domestically and internationally based on their qualifications. In the near future, the salaries of skilled workers will see a twofold increase. The residents of every district in Bangladesh will be integrated into the national economy. The BNP is committed to taking all necessary actions to enhance the quality of life for the people of Bangladesh.'

Reflecting on Zafrul Islam Chowdhury, Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury remarked, 'Zafrul Islam Chowdhury was a talented, honest, diligent, and devoted politician. He remained loyal to the BNP until his final moments. He passed away while actively participating in the party's initiatives. He maintained peace among millions of BNP supporters in Chattogram South District. Zafr Bhai was a constant presence at every BNP event, whether in the northern or southern regions beyond the new bridge. Even in Zafr Bhai's absence in Bashkhali, his son Pappa is present. Wherever Zafr Bhai traveled, the people of Bashkhali followed. If Mishkatul Islam secures victory in the Bashkhali constituency, Zafr Bhai's spirit will find tranquility. I am optimistic that the people of Bashkhali will support the sheaf of rice with a significant vote.

Amir Khasru stated, 'In the past, a group was involved in looting. They have since been expelled from the country. As a result, the citizens will reap the benefits of economic development in the future. Tarique Rahman has initiated a significant program across all sectors of the country. However, the nation cannot function without an elected government. Consequently, everything, including the economy, has come to a halt. For the country's best interest, a free and fair election will take place in the first week of February, and the democratically elected government must transfer power. This government will be accountable to the populace. Therefore, the country will be governed through the success of the paddy sheaf in the upcoming election and the execution of Tarique Rahman's 31 points.'

The memorial meeting was chaired by Zahirul Islam Chowdhury Alamgir, a senior member of Chattogram South BNP and the eldest son of the late Zafrul Islam Chowdhury. Mahbuber Rahman Shamim, the BNP's Chattogram Divisional Organizing Secretary, along with Chattogram South District BNP Convener Mohammad Idris Mia, former senior joint convener Enamul Haque Enam, the paddy sheaf candidate for the Patiya constituency, joint convener and BNP's nominated paddy sheaf candidate for Chattogram-16 Bashkhali constituency, Mishkatul Islam Chowdhury Pappa, senior member of the district BNP Iftekhar Hossain Chowdhury Mohsin, former president of Bashkhali Municipality BNP and former municipal mayor Kamrul Islam Hossaini, and District Public Prosecutor Adv. Ashraf Hossain Chowdhury Razzak addressed the gathering as special guests.

Currently, the event was jointly moderated by Advocate Shawkat Osman, the former Organizing Secretary of South District Jubo Dal, and Adv. Nasir Uddin, the Joint Convener of Municipality BNP. Also in attendance were Sakhawat Jamal Dulal, the former Publicity Secretary of South District BNP, Professor Shahidul Islam Bulbul, the former General Secretary, Master Lokman Ahmed, the former Convenor of Bashkhali Upazila BNP, Russell Iqbal Mia, the former Convenor of Bashkhali Municipality BNP, Rezaul Haque Chowdhury, the former Member Secretary of Upazila BNP, Aminur Rahman Chowdhury, the former General Secretary, Ibrahim Khalil, the former General Secretary, Khorshed Alam Ayub, the former Member Secretary of Municipality BNP, along with Akhtar Hossain Chairman, Md. Shahjahan Chowdhury Chairman, Mohammad Mohsin Chairman, and others.
