The National University (NU) has published the results of the 2024 Honours Final (Fourth Year) examinations in a record-breaking 47 working days. This swift publication nearly halves last year’s 89-day turnaround with setting a new benchmark for the university's examination management.

The results officially released on Monday (August 31), recorded an average pass rate of 65.10%. A total of 232,624 students from 881 affiliated colleges appeared for the exams, which were held between April 30 and June 15, 2026.

Students can access their results online through the official NU portal: https://results.nu.ac.bd.

NU Vice-Chancellor Professor Dr. ASM Amanullah praised the collective efforts of the teachers, examiners and administrative staff who made the rapid turnaround possible.

“Publishing the results within 47 working days sets a new precedent for the National University” the Vice-Chancellor said. “To protect the time and future of our students, our goal is to bring dynamism to every step from conducting exams to publishing results. We intend to maintain this efficiency in the future.”

According to a press release signed by Taiyaba Tasneem Siraj, acting director of the NU Public Relations Department, the university retains standard authority to correct or cancel any results should inconsistencies or errors be identified.
