


Gopalganj District Police Lines held a master parade Wednesday to strengthen physical fitness, discipline and professional skills among personnel, alongside a monthly crime review meeting, welfare meeting and a farewell reception for a transferred officer.
Superintendent of Police Md. Habibullah took the salute and inspected the parade, expressing satisfaction with the personnel's fitness, turnout and discipline while urging them to remain attentive and professional in their duties. He emphasized discipline, proper dress code, health and cleanliness and cordial relations with the public, offering guidelines to uphold the image of Bangladesh Police. Assistant Superintendent of Police (Probationer) Mohammad Saifur Rahman served as parade commander.
Following the parade, a crime review meeting assessed the district's law and order situation and progress in police operations and ongoing cases.
Several officers including Muksudpur Police Station Officer-in-Charge Abdul Al Mamun, were honored with crests for their professionalism and dedication. Others were recognized for recovering narcotics, arresting suspects in robbery and murder cases, executing arrest warrants and completing prosecution reports and official duties.
A farewell reception was later held for Mohammad Saifur Rahman on his transfer with SP Habibullah presenting him a commemorative crest and wishing him success in his future career.
The event was attended by Additional SPs Mohammad Kazi Humayun Rashid and Md. Sakhawat Hossain Santu, Assistant SPs Md. Nafisur Rahman, Md. Hasanur Rahman and Roni Hawladar, along with probationary officers, officers-in-charge from across the district, outpost in-charges and other members of the Gopalganj District Police.
