


Prime Minister Tarique Rahman has inaugurated the government's rehabilitation program for families affected by the recent floods in Baharchhara village, Banshkhali.
On Sunday (August 9), at around 1:30 PM, the Prime Minister launched the initiative and handed over the keys to newly constructed houses to affected family members in the flood-hit Paschim Banshkhali area of Baharchhara Union.
Deputy Press Secretary to the Prime Minister, Jahidul Islam Rony, shared the update, stating that Prime Minister Tarique Rahman personally interacted with the flood victims and inquired about their well-being. Finance Minister Amir Khasru Mahmud Chowdhury, Home Minister Salahuddin Ahmed, and State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Asadul Habib Dulu, among others, accompanied the Prime Minister during the event.
Following the inauguration of the rehabilitation program, the Prime Minister attended a function at the Banshkhali High School and College ground, Deputy Press Secretary Jahidul Islam Rony confirmed.
