BGB Arrests Two with Tapentadol Tablets in Porsha, Naogaon

The individuals arrested are Babul Akhter (31), the son of Mansur Ali from Nitpur Bangalpara, and Shaon Akhter (28), the son of Manjur Hossain.

The Naogaon Battalion (16 BGB) patrol team from Nitpur BOP apprehended two individuals in Porsha, Naogaon, for possessing Indian Tapentadol tablets.

Acting on intelligence received from SIP, RIB, and local sources, the arrests occurred on Saturday evening when the suspects were found with 20 Indian Tapentadol tablets in a mango orchard owned by Babar in Nitpur Master Para, located about 500 yards within Bangladesh from the border main pillar 230/53 R of Nitpur BOP. The operation was led by Havildar Muhammad Mizanur Rahman.

The individuals arrested are Babul Akhter (31), the son of Mansur Ali from Nitpur Bangalpara, and Shaon Akhter (28), the son of Manjur Hossain. Subedar Mahfuzur Rahman from 16/D Co. of Nitpur BOP confirmed the incident, stating that the two detainees have been transferred to Porsha Police Station.
